Periodic Table Elements

THE PERIODIC TABLE

  • Ø  Each element in the periodic table is identified by its atomic number

  • Ø  The columns in the periodic table are called groups and the rows are called periods.

  • Ø  The periodic table is perfect because all elements in the column have the same number of electrons in their outermost shells.
